Four-Fold Boxwood Rule
$30.00 USD
A metre rule that folds down to a quarter of that and rides in a pocket. No case, no spring, nothing to recoil. Boxwood leaves, brass hinges and tips. Millimetres along one edge, inches along the other, which is what you want when a drawing mixes the two.
- Folds to a quarter metre — a pocket rule with no case and no recoil
- Brass hinges hold the leaves where you set them
- Metric one edge, imperial the other, for drawings that mix the two

Materials
Boxwood leaves with brass hinges and end caps, one metre in four folds. Graduated in millimetres on one edge and inches on the other.
Care
Keep it out of standing water, and do not force a stiff hinge — a drop of light oil at the pivot frees it. The printed graduations wear before the wood does, so read from the brass end you use least.
