Materials
Ductile iron body with a machined and lapped sole, a brass depth adjuster and an adjustable mouth plate. The blade is O1 tool steel, bedded at twelve degrees.
Care
Hone the iron before the first cut — it ships ground flat, not sharpened. After use, wipe the sole with a rag and a little oil, and set the plane on its side rather than face down on the bench.
